Service Description:
Aston House is a 16 place Residential Home on the edge of
Hereford. The house is staffed at all times with one member
of staff "sleeping in" at night. It has mostly single
and some double rooms with three communal living rooms. The
house offers a range of in house activities and participation
in its daily management is encouraged. Most residents attend
a variety day time activities and work placements in Hereford.
Referrals:
Phone to arrange an informal visit or ask your Care Co-ordinator
to do this. We will then ask your doctor and social worker
for some background information after which we will arrange
a second visit for you. Most residents move in after this,
initially for a four week trial period. Shorter "taster"
stays are possible.
