Service Description:
CAS offers information, advice and treatment to people who are experiencing
difficulties as a result of their own or someone elses drinking.
Interventions include counselling, group work, working with families,
home detox, and assessment for residential rehabilitation. The team
works closely with other local health and social care agencies
Referrals:
CAS takes referrals from Primary Care, CMHTs, Stonebow Unit, FACT
and DASH. Self- referral not accepted
Hours:
9am - 5pm Mon - Frid (office)
Out-of-hours appointments by arrangement.

Service description:
AA is a worldwide network of recovery groups for alcoholics. They
all use a recovery model called the 12 step programme, which involves
comprehensively owning up to the damage alcohol has done to you
and the people around you.

Service Description:
Al-Anon supports for families and friends of problem drinkers, whether
the alcoholic is still drinking or not. Alateen, a part of
Al-Anon, is for young people aged 12 - 20 who have been affected
by someone else's drinking, usually that of a parent. They also
hold regular meetings.
