WHAT THE MARCHES BRANCH OFFERS

We offer one to one support and counselling to bereaved people in Herefordshire. As a very rural branch, we have heavy travelling costs as most of our volunteers see their clients in their own homes. We are now able to use Quay House (see address below) for counselling sessions if this is more convenient.

Service Co-ordinator

The Service Co-ordinator is based at Quay House and acts as a single point of reference for all bereavement professional and volunteer services in Herefordshire, answering queries regarding bereavement support and working towards raising awareness of bereavement issues in general. A directory has been assembled for use by professionals and the public, which will be updated annually, containing contact numbers of local and national bereavement support services. Training/talks and an annual Bereavement Services event which includes training workshops, discussion groups and networking opportunities have been held. Training can also be arranged to suit requirements as requested by professionals or volunteers whose work touches bereavement or for any organisation wanting training in this field.

Further details of these and other publications are available from Cruse House - 020 8939 9530.
