registered for another course, you will not need to register

Group sizes are small, usually about eight participants

Some help can also be given towards transport and childcare
costs to enable people to take part

When the courses are held at Mind Day Centres meals are available
at a very reasonable price. To book a meal, ring the appropriate
centre by 11am on the day.

Places on courses will be allocated on a first come, first served
basis, so it is important that you return them as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, if courses are under-subscribed, we may not be able
to run them.

Our Service Aims:
To identify the educational and recreational needs of people experiencing
or recovering from mental or social difficulties.
To make available a rolling programme of short courses throughout
the county adapted to their needs.
To help participants progress on to mainstream courses, through
further education and training whenever possible.
To provide the necessary support to enable participants to be successful
e.g. help with transport, childcare costs, and additional support
in sessions.
To develop productive working links with the Herefordshire Colleges
and other local educational providers and all mental health services
providers.
To raise awareness and understanding of mental illness and it’s
effects in learning through in-service training for tutors and support
staff.
