The following organisations provide support and a variety of services for carers of older people with mental health problems.

All core ADS services support people with dementia and their families. ^The following are specifically aimed at supporting carers.
Carers Support Meetings
ADS runs on the first Tuesday each month between 11.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. at 49 Breinton Road Hereford.
Carers may bring their dependants who will be cared for at the Nan Belleville Day Hospital adjoining the Centre.
Short term Breaks
limited to 6. The sessions last up to 3 hours and are available on weekdays between 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Take a Break recruits and trains volunteers to provide short term breaks (up to 3 hrs) for people including those with functional illnesses (e.g. depression) and those with early stage dementia.

Support and advice on all forms of dementia. Open from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, Alzheimer's Helpline is staffed by trained advisers, including specialists in welfare benefits and medical and scientific issues.
