Programme Summary:
Sure Start - Leominster and Kington aims to give children under four year the best start in life, improving the health and well being of families and children, helping them to flourish at school and in later life.

The designated area covers 132 square miles of mainly rural, farming land but also incorporates two small towns at either end of the project area, together with a selection of small villages and hamlets. (Encompasses 16 parishes in all).

The programme is set up to improve existing services for families and chldren under 4 years old. This will involve the re-shaping of current services, filling gaps where they exist and provide better and more co-ordinated support for families.

Sure Start Leominster and Kington is about working with parents across the area, consulting with them and actively getting them involved in planning and developing the services that they need.
